Bürresheim castle is one I had hoped to explore and photograph in depth. Unfortunately I was unaware of the hours of operation and arrived as the last group was being escorted from the grounds. I spent precious minutes capturing video before I realized the gates were closing. To make matters worse, as I made these very few exterior shots, my camera jammed and I was forced to find a room for the night and repair my camera.
