| Neideck, as you can see by this image, is mearly a section of tower and walls with no travelers conveniences in sight. Unless you are looking for a walking and picnicking destination or, like me, looking for some great textures and art subjects, you can simply take in the pleasure of the beautiful way in which the castle seems to naturally complete the flow of the hill and landscape. This is the view from the main road, highway 470 east of Bamberg. The castle is on the south side of the road. |
